From BHA:

Backcountry Hunters & Anglers is pleased to announce that the 6th annual BHA North American Rendezvous will return to Missoula, Montana, in 2017. Sportsmen and women from across the continent will unite in support of the backcountry April 7-9 in the northern Rockies, the heart of America’s public lands and waters.

“Fishing and floating, hiking and hunting – western Montana offers something for everyone who enjoys our public lands and waters,” said BHA President and CEO Land Tawney. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring BHA’s annual rendezvous back to Missoula. We look forward to welcoming back past attendees – and we invite those who’ve never attended at BHA gathering to join us. See what the buzz is about and why BHA is a powerhouse that’s uniting the next generation of sportsmen and women.”

The 2017 Rendezvous will further raise the bar following the unprecedented success of the 2016 event, which shattered records for attendance, funds raised for conservation and positive energy generated by backcountry enthusiasts.

“Our 2016 Rendezvous was one for the record books,” continued Tawney. “Without a shadow of a doubt, it illustrated the deep sense of commitment and passion sportsmen feel for our public lands – and showed that BHA members know how to have a good time in the name of backcountry conservation!”

The 2017 North American Rendezvous features an expanded line-up of speakers, skills seminars and social activities that promise to be stimulating, informative and fun. The 2nd annual Field to Table dinner showcases the wild game creations of celebrity chefs while raising funds for backcountry conservation. Other highlights include hands-on demonstrations, raffles, live and silent auctions, and, of course, BHA’s annual Backcountry Brewfest.

A preliminary schedule of events can be viewed on the BHA website. RSVP to be notified as details are finalized and registration and hotel booking become available.
