(Loveland, Colorado) – PEAK Fishing has announced a record sales year for 2009. Despite the tough economy, sales of PEAK Fishing’s fly tying vises, tools and accessories were up 48% in 2009 from 2008 making 2009 PEAK Fishing’s best sales year to date.

Kurt Pflock, PEAK Fishing’s president, attributes much of the gain to PEAK’s expanded dealer network and the commitment of those dealers to represent PEAK’s products. “Our dealers are especially critical to our success because we do not sell our fly tying products directly to the retail market.”

Other contributing factors to PEAK’s growth were the introduction of several exciting new products in 2009 including a non-rotary vise, completely re-structured fly tying packages, and bamboo rod planing forms.

PEAK is currently in the development phase of several new products with plans to introduce them in 2010. “We are committed to the continued support of our current products as we move forward with new ideas to enhance our product line,” commented Al Ritt, who handles much of the day to day sales, customer service, and product development.
