The Articulating Re-attachable Cable retainer is the only retainer of its kind allowing you to both, attach different size ends, which can be snapped off and on according to need, to properly fit virtually all frame sizes, and, because no two eyewear frames are the same, the ARC allows for 70 degrees of adjustment in the angle of the retainer while it is attached to your glasses, keeping the retainer off your neck or collar as a result.

The ultra-lightweight ARC, which is proudly made in the USA, uses precision machine fittings and coated steel cable in creating an eyewear retainer that does what no other eyewear retainer can do.

In 1976 a local ski patrolman from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, came up with an idea for an eyewear retainer that would grip his shades through all kinds of alpine adventures. Using an old wetsuit, some sharp scissors, and good old American ingenuity, he made the first pair of Croakies.
