In a email to Catch Magazine viewers, co-founder Brian O’Keefe said the publication would start charging a small subscription fee in 2012 as well as update many of the features of the site itself.

From Catch:

Todd Moen and Brian O’Keefe have been working on several upgrades to Catch Magazine – www.catchmagazine.net . Starting with the next issue, January 1, 2012, Catch Magazine will be available on iPads, iPhones and Android based tablets like the Kindle Fire and Samsung Galaxy. This includes video. There are also visual changes. The January 1 issue of Catch Magazine will be ‘bigger’. It will fill up your computer’s screen, whether you are using your small, travel laptop or a huge desk monitor. Navigation will be easier and Flash will no longer be required. The re-design will make the videos larger, the slide shows larger, as every page will be expanded. Currently, Catch Magazine is seen in 148 countries and over 11,500 cities.
