From Buff Inc.
SANTA ROSA, Calif. (March 19, 2012) – Fueled by strong sales and a broadening retail base, Buff, Inc. this week announced the addition of two key personnel to their U.S. headquarters.
The iconic global headwear company added Natalie Tatsy as Operations Manager, and Hugh Ewing, Jr. as Customer Service Manager.
Both positions will directly support the continued expansion of the Buff® brand, which has experienced year-over-year sales growth of 31%, and more than doubled its U.S. staff in the last 12 months.
“The Buff® brand is continuing to grow in both core markets as well as among numerous new audiences,” said Shirley Choi Brunetti, Vice President & General Manager, Buff, Inc. “Taking care of essential details as we grow has always been a priority for Buff, Inc., and the addition of Natalie and Hugh will ensure that we continue to lead the market in this key area.”
Tatsy brings more than ten years of operational expertise to Buff, Inc. Previously, she oversaw operations and logistics for EConscious, a leading innovator in organic and sustainable apparel.
Ewing also brings a wealth of experience the brand, with a career outdoor industry background that includes ownership and management of a specialty outdoor shop in Olympia, Wash., and internal management roles at Gregory Mountain Products and Ex Officio.
The hands-on experience of Tatsy and Ewing are key additions to the growing Buff® organization, as their quickly expanding retailer base is being fueled, step by step, by a growing product line.
At January’s Outdoor Retailer Winter Market and SIA trade shows, new Buff® introductions for fall 2012 included stylish new knitted designs (Neckwarmer Knitted Polar Buff®, Neckwarmer Knitted Reversible Buff®, Headband Knitted Polar Buff®); a sleek and edgy Bandana Ketten Buff®; and a luxurious Infinity Recycled Buff® made from recycled plastic bottles.
Other rising stars in the Buff® family include four-season Mossy Oak® camouflage designs (Winter, Break-Up Infinity, Treestand, and Duck Blind); Bug Slinger™ Fly Gear featuring fresh and bold angler styling; and must-have Sport-Series Water Gloves and Pro-Series Angler Gloves.
