Simms Fishing Products will be implementing some significant changes among its sales staff in the coming weeks. Scott Harkins, who has worked through his company San Miguel Mtn. & River Products since 1995, representing major brands like Scientific Anglers, Winston and others, will be assuming the role of director of sales for Simms Fishing Products.
Harkins will transition control of SMMRP product lines to Greg Pearson, who will be working with Sam Spillane.
Simms also informed dealers that Jon Yousko, who has represented the company in its Northern Rockies region for the past nine years, will leave that position to pursue other opportunities. Michael White of Blue Ribbon Reps, who assumed sole representation of Simms in the Southern Rockies in 2005 will move to cover the Northern Rockies. Utah will be moved from the Southern Rockies region to remain in White’s coverage area.
Kurt Olesek, an outstanding fly angler who has successfully represented brands like Oakley and Burton snowboards, will cover Colorado and New Mexico for Simms.
