Five members of the American Fly Fishing Trade Association (AFFTA) board of directors were elected or re-elected recently. Their terms, will begin August 15, 2012 at IFTD in Reno, and each elected member will serve three-year terms.
Jim Klug, Yellow Dog Fly Fishing Adventures; Tucker Ladd, Trout’s Fly Shop; Tom Sadler, The Middle River Group; Brian Westover; Westwater Products; Park Burson, Tidewater Sales. Congratulations to Jim, Tucker, Tom, Brian and Park.
We also would like to thank the field of candidates that ran this year; their willingness to volunteer their time to the industry is to be commended.
AFFTA’s mission is to promote the sustained growth of the fly fishing industry.We work to grow consumer demand for fly fishing goods and services, enhance the growth and professionalism of fly fishing businesses, and support the protection, enhancement and restoration of fish and fish habitat.
