The Orvis Rod Shop is located in Manchester, Vermont, the same town where Charles Orvis opened his very first fly rod shop in 1856 and where all of our finest fly rods are still built. We are seeking a Director of Rod Shop Manufacturing who will ensure the highest level of customer and employee satisfaction, while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials, and machines. The Director will lead the Rod Manufacturing Operations through a team of functional managers and supervisors and will be responsible for 80+ employees in a manufacturing facility highly recognized as a leader in fly rod technology, innovation, and quality product offering.
