Over the last year, we’ve been working on a number of exciting new projects. The 2 Plus Finatic and Nomad Pliers have been at the top of the list. After months of testing and prototyping, we’re as excited as you are to have both products in stock and ready to ship.
The 2 Plus combines the lightweight of the 1 Plus, with drag power similar to the 3 Plus, creating the ultimate dry fly trout reel for 2 to 3 weight rods. We’ve also used it on ultra light 4 weight rods with great success.
The Nomad Pliers are shorter in length than our previous Tempest Pliers and have been fitted with a custom set of Tungsten Carbide anvil cutters that will withstand abrasion and the cutting of all fishing line materials. Check them out below. Take care and tight lines!

HATCH 2 PLUS
Small water perfection. The 2 Plus is rated for 2 through 4 weight lines, weighs only 3.6 oz., is 3” in diameter with an .85″ spool width. Match up with your favorite lightweight fly rod and you’re ready to fish any small stream, lake, or favorite dry fly stretch of water. HATCH NOMAD PLIERS
The I-Beam arms are crafted from 6061T6 Aluminum and protected with Type II anodize. The cutters are made from Tungsten Carbide for abrasion resistance and reliable cuts through all fishing line material. The jaws are machined from 1704 stainless steel made for ultimate corrosion resistance. Nomad pliers come with a custom Hatch bungee lanyard and black leather sheath. Learn more about it HERE.
