The Scott Fly Rod Company announced Kevin Green joined the company as the Sales Representative for Western Canada covering British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.
Scott President, Jim Bartschi said, “We’re excited to work with Kevin to grow the brand in Western Canada. He has extensive experience both as a guide and retail specialist. He understands the needs and challenges of specialty fly shops and end consumers, and the nuances that differentiate products. Add to that, Kevin’s a super enthusiastic angler and all around good guy. Those qualities will be of great benefit to our dealers and customers.”
Kevin lives in Fernie, BC where he has been fishing and guiding the Elk River and its tributaries since 1997. He has also guided anglers to the famed steelhead of the Sustut River and other Skeena tributaries. When he’s not guiding, Kevin is either swinging for steelhead in the Skeena drainage or warming up on the Florida flats chasing redfish, snook, tarpon and bones. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and in addition to fishing, is an avid skier, paddler, and mountain biker.
