Surface Film VI: Greenbacks Announce Sixth Year of Photo Show to Benefit Conservation

0

surface_filmSix years ago, a small group of conservation-minded anglers called the Greenbacks sat down to discuss how to excite a new generation of passionate anglers. Their thought was simple — let’s change how conservation is viewed and make it engaging by thinking outside the box.

One of their first events was hosting a gallery show called SURFACE FILM of some of the best fishing photography in the world. Six years later it’s still going strong and is being held again this year at the Upslope Brewery and Taproom in Boulder, Colorado the night of March 26th 7-9pm. This year’s event will consist of a “best of” the last five years and will celebrate works by some of the industries most acclaimed photographers such as Andy Anderson, Brian Grossenbacher, Adam Barker, Louis Cahill, Bryan Gregson, Nate Luke, Rob Yaskovic, and more…

Prints will be available for purchase to benefit the Greenbacks work conserving Colorado’s cold water fisheries and recruit the next generation of Trout Unlimited Members. There will also be live music by Laser Bunny , raffle items from Scott Fly rods, Rep Your Water, Front Range Anglers, BUFF, etc…

With that in mind if you live in the Denver/Boulder area or know someone else that might appreciate this kind of thing (by sharing the info) please help the Greenbacks celebrate six years of changing the world of conservation at Upslope Brewery on March 26th.
