Al Perkinson Joins Simms as Senior VP of Marketing
Al Perkinson, who earned his reputation as one of this industry’s most progressive marketing minds while working with Costa sunglasses, will take over as the new Senior Vice President of Marking at Simms Fishing Products. It’s a blockbuster move that’s definitely going to be felt throughout fly fishing. Perkinson starts at the new job in Bozeman on October 17.
“We are excited to have Al join the company, because he has done so much to develop the brand at Costa, and our brand is growing as well,” said Diane Bristol, Senior Director, Employee & Community Engagement at Simms. “We are seriously expanding our executive team, and we have important plans for the future of Simms. Al brings the talents and insights to the mix that will have him play a central role in all of that.”
Perkinson was named “Angler of the Year” by Fly Rod & Reel in 2015.
