We know… most of you already give so much to conservation causes that you don’t need a reminder. So thanks for that. You get it. You understand that without the resources, there is no fly fishing.
But if you happen to have a little extra change in your pocket, or more importantly, if you have some customers you know have extra change in their pockets… please encourage them to donate to a conservation cause, like Trout Unlimited, Bonefish & Tarpon Trust, TRCP, Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, etc.
It’s a good time of year to do that, especially with the tax laws changing for next year. Conservation programs obviously need angler support now more than ever. And in many cases, the dollars donated for year-end campaigns are matched, so you give a dollar, and that becomes two dollars.
That’s all the guilt tripping we’re going to do, but do think about what kind of impact you might have for fishing as a whole, and our whole community of anglers, by kicking in what you can before the end of the year.
