Trout Unlimited is pleased to welcome its new Southwest Director of Communications, Kara Armano. Kara brings a deep understanding and passion for TU through her volunteer work in Colorado. She is a co-founder of Artemis, a past river steward member and chair of the Roaring Fork Conservancy and has spent more than a decade managing communications for a number of well-known brands in the fly fishing and outdoor recreation world.
As most of you who read this already know, she is an exceptionally talented angler and has been drawn to rivers her whole life. Kara will cover comms work in Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. She will be based in the Durango, Colo., area and can be reached at [email protected]
