From AFFTA:
AFFTA is excited to announce that Steven Rinella, noted conservationist, sportsman and host of the popular MeatEater Netflix series, will be the keynote speaker at the 2019 IFTD Industry Breakfast in Denver, CO.
“The fly fishing industry has long been a champion of protecting our nation’s public lands and natural resources,” says AFFTA president, Ben Bulis, “especially when the health of our rich fisheries ecosystems—from blue water depths to high mountain streams—is in jeopardy. Steve is one of the strongest sportsman-conservationist voices out there today. Having him kick off our Denver homecoming is going to put industry enthusiasm over the top.”
In addition to his series, Rinella also hosts The MeatEater Podcast and is the author of six books dealing with wildlife, hunting, fishing, and wild game cooking, including the bestselling MeatEater Fish and Game Cookbook: Recipes and Techniques for Every Hunter and Angler.
Tickets for the Industry Breakfast on October 16th are available for registered IFTD exhibitors and attendees. To register, visit affta.org/iftd-show.
AFFTA guides the sustainable growth of the fly fishing industry through trade development and stewardship. We accomplish this by advocating for the industry and empowering our members to improve their businesses through collaboration, education and building community; along with advocating for healthy fisheries and engaging our members and partners to support protection, restoration, and access.
