Here’s another very cool wrinkle—artist Cody Richardson is offering 20% of proceeds from his unique Belize/license plate/tarpon, permit, or bonefish pieces to the cause. This from Cody:
“Belize will always hold a special place in my fly fishing adventure log, it’s where I landed my first permit and has become one of my favorite destinations to hunt for license plates off the beaten path. Since the pandemic began, the Belizean guiding community has been hit hard. Some guides were trapped in the country for months, unable to work and worrying about the future. As soon as my friends at Yellow Dog Community & Conservation Fund reached out to me about helping raise funds for the fly fishing community down there, I had to get involved.
I’ve had the pleasure of perfecting my collection of Belize license plate art, featuring the big three species most anglers head south to pursue: bonefish, permit, and tarpon. From now until YDCCF reaches its fundraising goal, I will be donating 20% of every Belize piece sold to the cause. Just like we did in March, let’s show the Belizean guiding community how much they mean to all of us, and give them a helping hand!
