There has been a lot of talk recently about how to alleviate angler pressure on some of the country’s most popular rivers.
One idea that is certainly garnering attention, particularly in the West, is a permit system requiring ALL users to sign up and effectively reserve their spot, with a total cap of users in place.
Taking the money discussion out of it for now (assuming no cost) would you support a simple online permit/reservation system for the busiest rivers?

Outfitters/guides are easy targets but are simply serving the public. They are also some of the strongest advocates for fisheries protections.
