The last week of December 2021 was incredibly tough for Angling Trade’s home community here on the Front Range of Colorado as the Marshall fire tore through 6000 acres and destroyed over 1000 homes in the span of a couple of hours. The stories of loss that we’ve heard of are almost to much to comprehend. Many in the fishing community lost everything. So when we came across this Instagram post about one of our advertisers we had to share. Apparently Pescador On the Fly caught wind that a recent convert to the sport lost a newly purchased rod and reel along with their house in the fire and sent another set up free of charge.
