Smith showed off The Spinner, a shield-style sunglass and the new Embark sunglass at ICAST this year. The Embark was originally designed for mountaineering but has been swiftly adapted by Smith’s angling ambassadors (and retailers!) as the perfect on-water sunglass for keeping out light with the removable TPU side shields.
Both styles are available to consumers now. The Embark will also be reissued in October with angling-specific lenses in ChromaPop Blue Mirror and ChromaPop Green Mirror tints.

Removable and ventilated side shields add peripheral light coverage, and low-profile, adjustable temple arms let you customize the fit. A goggle-inspired retainer strap adds the security to keep them in place through technical ascents and high-speed descents.
