The 12th Annual Colorado Wooden Boat Float will take place on September 10th, 2022 with a 10 mile float along the Upper Colorado River. Wood Drift Boats and Wooden Dories from across Colorado and the Western United States will meet up for our annual float followed by a riverside bbq, happy hour, raffle and awards ceremony for the best boats in attendance. We are once again pleased to have our main event sponsor, Sawyer Oars on board with prizes for the raffle along with Jack’s Plastic Welding, Polar Bear Coolers and Down River Equipment also adding to the raffle prizes.
For the fishermen on the float we have a the prize of a wooden long handled boat net for the best fish picture from the days float. There are also many raffle prizes from Umpqua Feather Merchants, Rep Your Water and Prove-It Products.
So bring those drift boats and dories to the largest wooden riverboat festival in the United States and share your boat building, fishing and river stories while enjoying a beer from Woods Boss Brewery at this year’s float.
