From Scientific Anglers
Brad Befus, president of Scientific Anglers, is very pleased to announce that Josh Graffam will be joining Scientific Anglers as the National Sales Manager. In his new role Josh will be managing the independent sales representatives and responsible for all aspects of sales leadership, strategic sales initiatives and sales forecasting in the US market.
Josh is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire where he earned a degree in business administration. He is no stranger to the fly fishing industry having guided in Montana, Utah and Wyoming for 10 years before joining Umpqua in 2014 as a regional business manager and later as the sales manager. Josh excels at building close personal and business relationships within the fly fishing community and implementing strategic selling initiatives that achieve brand goals. His business outlook and dealer centric thinking align with our brand core values and strong commitment to our dealers. Due to his years of industry experience we are highly confident he will have an immediate impact on our brand and will help further define Scientific Anglers as the market leader of fly lines, leader and tippet.
To say he is passionate about the sport of fly fishing is an understatement. “I have been obsessed with fishing my whole life. In addition to guiding, I was a member of the USA Fly Fishing team for 10 years and competed in 7 world championships”. His other hobbies include skiing, hiking, travel and spending time in the outdoors with his family. Josh lives in Denver, Colorado where he will be based.
