North Point Brands, parent entity to Cheeky Fishing and Wingo Outdoors, has rounded out its hiring spree by bringing in an experienced Product Director. Aaron Jacobsen has had an impressive career designing products for notable brands in the outdoor industry, but cut his teeth as a product designer at Target. Since then, Jacobsen has worked for Under Armor at its height, and spent time with Shimano/G.Loomis and Cabelas. Most recently, he was in the outdoor space with Exxel Outdoors working on the Slumberjack, Serta Outdoors and Compass 360 Brands. Jacobsen will oversee product development for both Wingo and Cheeky, bringing his experience in innovation to the soft and hard goods categories.

Upton says that this a key hire in what has been a remarkable few years for Cheeky Fishing and Wingo Outdoors.

“We’ve added to the team in a number of areas including marketing, sales, ops, customer service, and now product. We are well prepped for an exciting future,” Upton said.
