From HM Outdoors: Brooks Montgomery Owner and CEO of Hart-Montgomery Outdoor Sales is excited to announce that Travis Morris, long-time employee, will become co-owner/partner in HM Outdoors, LLC., effective November 1.
“Travis Morris has greatly contributed, for over 15 years, to the successful growth of Hart-Montgomery. Our new joint-venture, re-organized as HM Outdoors LLC, will continue to grow and prosper in the Northern Rockies and Pac Northwest and our continuing goal will be, as always, to lead the way as the best Manufacturer’s Rep agency in the region” Montgomery said.
Travis Morris will become the Manager of Operations. Brooks Montgomery will remain as CEO.
Travis was a longtime manager of The Bozeman Angler in the late 90’s and early 2000’s prior to going to work for Brooks Montgomery Sales & Marketing.
“Travis is a welcome sight to all our buyers and retailers–he’s constantly guiding and assisting dealers and manufacturers with his vast knowledge of products; and his IT navigational skills through the many new electronic commerce systems that are prevalent now with all brands is invaluable.”
“Many in the fly-fishing community know Travis through his tireless work with the Madison-Gallatin Trout Unlimited chapter, of which he has been President and is a current board member.”
“For over 13 years Travis has been a founding father of the Johnny Boyd Carp Classic Fly-fishing Tournament, Blackfoot Reservoir, Idaho, which has been a ‘helping-hand’ fund-raiser in the fly-fishing community”, Montgomery said.
