This spring, Patagonia Fly Fish is proud to introduce two new industry-leading waders, as well as our first piece of natural sun protection.
Weighing in at only 36 ounces and packing down to the size of a grande burrito, the new Patagonia Swiftcurrent Ultralight Waders feature 4-layer face-fabrics and innovative, quick-drying, vacuum-molded booties.
Meanwhile, the new Women’s Swiftcurrent Expedition Zip-Front Waders utilize the same 100% recycled face fabrics as our Men’s Expeditions and features a women’s-specific fit, drop-seat functionality, removable knee pads and more. They’re designed, built and tested for women by women.
The new Tropic Comfort Natural Hoody offers 40+ UPF sun protection in our modal fabric, made from renewable, natural beech tree pulp.
Finally, the Early Rise Shirt offers warmth and breathability for cool mornings and late evenings on the water.
SWIFTCURRENT ULTRALIGHT WADERS
The game-changing Patagonia Swiftcurrent Ultralight Waders are the most innovative waders on the water. Engineered with 4-layer face fabrics in a design that sheds bulk and reduces abrasion, they’re impossibly lightweight and tough, weighing only 36 ounces. These river-tested, breathable fabrics employ an exclusive patterning that delivers a non-baggy fit that moves athletically in and out of the water. Vacuum-molded, 3D-formed booties cut ounces and offer just enough stretch to ensure a comfortable fit.

Delivering dependable 40+ UPF sun protection and ingenious on-the-water functionality, the Tropic Comfort Natural Hoody features our modal fabric. Engineered from renewable, natural beech tree pulp, modal is super-soft and breathable yet durable for the most demanding hot-weather conditions. Fair Trade Certified™ sewn. Available in both men’s and women’s versions.

Our most versatile, fully featured midweight fishing shirt features a PFC-free, quick-drying, highly abrasion-resistant, recycled polyester/organic cotton twill blend. Comfortable and patterned for full range of motion, it offers just the right amount of stretch for all-day casting. Fair Trade Certified™ sewn. Available in both men’s and women’s versions.

Engineered for all-day comfort and durability. Made of an abrasion-resistant 52% recycled polyester/48% organic cotton twill fabric with a brushed face, mechanical stretch and a PFC-free DWR finish (durable water repellent coating that does not contain perfluorinated chemicals).
