From The Fly Fishing Show:The Flyweight Access Wading Boots, designed and manufactured by Simms Fishing Products, were named Best of Show at the Consumer Choice Awards competition conducted during the 2024 Fly Fishing Show.
There were 239 entries in 41 categories of fly fishing products, announced Ben Furimsky, President and CEO of the Fly Fishing Show.
Awards were made jointly by the show, Angling Trade Media, Fly Fusion Magazine, and Fly Fishing Journeys and voted on by the public. Products were available for review at the seven nation-wide Fly Fishing Shows.
“There were only a remarkable three votes separating First and Second Place in two categories: Gift Items Under $100, and Women’s General Apparel, showing how coveted these awards are” said Furimsky.
According to Simms, their Best of Show low profile Flyweight Access Wading Boots’ with Vibram Idogrip outer soles weigh 43 ounces in size 11. They feature welded TPU film in high abrasion zones for increased durability, speed lace hooks and lace-toe closure, high cushion dual-density EVA midsole, and stud-compatible 4.5mm rubber outsole.
