Mayfly Outdoors, the Montrose, Colorado-based parent company of Abel Reels, Ross Reels, AirFlo fly lines, and Dyna-King vises, has acquired Titusville, Florida-based Renzetti, Inc., maker of premium fly-tying vises, hand tools rod building equipment and other machined products. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed, however Mayfly president and CEO Jeff Wagner noted that Renzetti will retain its own brand identity.
“Think of it like Abel and Ross under the same roof,” Wagner said.
Renzetti brings a lot of manufacturing capability to the company that is a great complement to what Mayfly has, and vice-versa. Or is that vise-a-versa?
