The popular fly-fishing website MidCurrent has hired longtime industry insider Phil Monahan to serve as its next editor-in-chief. Phil worked for the past 14 years with Orvis, launching the company’s weblog and spearheading a number of digital campaigns. Prior to his time at Orvis, Phil was the editor of American Angler magazine. His expertise with words is backed by legitimate fishing substance, having worked as a guide in Alaska and Montana.
