From Costa:
As the idea of warmer, longer days looms closer, women who love the water are already plotting an escape to their happy place, be it beach, lake or river. Costa’s new sunglass styles, Boga and La Mar, give their journey a stylish look without compromising on performance.
Boga features a large, round-eye fit, with a stylish nylon frame design. It includes Costa’s proprietary hypoallergenic rubberized no-slip nose pads and temple tips, and durable built-in optical spring hinges to provide a “forget-they’re-on” fit. Boga is available in bright and lively frame color options, including: white, squall (dark gray), pomegranate fade, orchid, morena and retro tortoise.
La Mar also offers a round-eye fit in a medium fitting frame. The integral hinges, and no-slip nose pads and temple tips offer the same durable, comfortable fit as Boga. La Mar’s frame color options expand to include pomegranate fade, white + topaz, retro tortoise with black temples, wood fade, and Costa’s new tri-lateral fused color technology in black + white + aqua.
Boga and La Mar can be customized in a full array of Costa’s patented color enhancing polarized 580P™ lenses. Costa’s 580 lens technology selectively filters out harsh yellow and harmful high-energy ultraviolet blue light. Filtering yellow light enhances reds, blues and greens, and produces better contrast and definition while reducing glare and eye fatigue. Absorbing high-energy blue light cuts haze, producing greater visual clarity and sharpness. Lens color options include: gray, copper, amber, blue mirror, green mirror and silver mirror.
“These styles are for women who love to be on the water, and want a great pair of sunglasses to complete the scene,” said Chas MacDonald, president of Costa. “These big-eye styles are a perfect fit for any escape.”
La Mar starts in retail at $149, while Boga begins at $169. Each are available at www.costadelmar.com and at authorized Costa retail partners.

Still handcrafted today in Florida, Costa has created the highest quality, best performing sunglasses and prescription sunglasses (Rx) for outdoor enthusiasts since 1983.
For Costa, conservation is all about sustainable fishing. Many fisheries that should be vibrant and healthy are all but devoid of native fish because they have fallen victim to poor fishing practices, unregulated development, lack of watershed protection or all of the above. Costa works with partners around the world to help increase awareness and influence policy so that both the fish and fishermen of tomorrow will have healthy waters to enjoy. Costa encourages others to help in any way they can.
