Would you support some fairly significant price hikes for things like fishing licenses and boat permits in our national parks, if you knew 100% of those proceeds would go directly into conservation and keeping the waters clean and fishable? (FWIW, many national parks saw substantial increases in visitors, boat traffic, etc., last year as a result of the pandemic pushing people to water and open spaces. That raises concerns about issues like aquatic invasive species, fish populations, and more. So, say the 3-day fishing license, which is a fairly low $18 right now were to double… and all the extra money went toward the water and fish… would you be for it?)

Ask those who question the extra income to help the natural resources, if they would still visit the national parks if the fish and other animals, land other natural resources were dead??? Would not be a beautiful place to visit any longer… think about it! If you can’t give up a few stops for a local coffee and help out, then you don’t really care about our National Parks.
