Powerhouse Lineup Embarks on a New Year with Lofty Goals and Objectives.
Bozeman, Mont. (January, 2022) – Simms Fishing Products, preeminent manufacturer of waders, outerwear, footwear, and technical fishing apparel, promotes from within to reveal new executives to its leadership roster. This lineup reflects a commitment to the continued growth and development of the brand and its employees, but also to the holistic fishing industry and community.
Simms enters 2022 on the heels of their most successful year to date. With continued positive tailwinds, the fishing community continues to grow and evolve. Simms’ newly appointed executive team members are poised to capitalize on the industry’s forward momentum, and the unique opportunities it provides.
“It’s been unbelievable to see how many individuals are now beginning to view fishing through the lens we’ve always viewed fishing through,” says Simms CEO, Casey Sheahan. “Of course, fishing is fun, but I believe that what anglers are really latching onto isn’t so much the fish they may or may not be catching, it’s the experience. Not only is our executive team filled with passionate anglers, it’s also stacked with the experience and drive that will allow our brand to evolve with the industry, and position Simms for exponential growth for the future.”
Simms executive leadership team of 10 consists of men and women that cumulatively represent almost 300 years of experience in the outdoor / fishing industry. Several individuals have been contributing to the evolution of the Simms brand for over 10 years, and in some cases, more than 25 years. Their elevation represents a commitment to building the brand, challenging the status quo, and engaging the entire organization in the push for positive impact across the industry.
In total, the team occupies 15 seats on various conservation / philanthropic boards, commissions, and advisory councils committed to protecting and preserving fisheries, to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and to shedding light on the physical, mental, and emotional benefits that can be attributed to fishing.
