Angling Trade has learned that notable fly innovator Shane Stalcup, 48, recently passed away at his home in Colorado. We have no specific details. As many of you know, Stalcup developed a number of the hottest patterns sold through fly shops today. His ingenuity and passion for fly tying (and fishing) will indeed be sorely missed.
