A unique of one of its kind rod, the Pocket Ninja 320, OUTBOUND ADVENTURER, is the art of fishing instrument. It is designed to catch on the roadside, backpacking, traveling… The rod bends on a 12″/25cm fish feels like a good trophy. Small streams have a lot of hanging branches and undercut banks… The rod has just enough backbone to control the fish to prevent it digs into hiding or fast-moving water. It is an incredible accuracy casting rod. That helps present a fly into a tight spot. The package includes a Pocket Ninja Rod – Color of choice, floating fishing line, 50 yards 5x tippet spool, a mini fly box with 12 flies, and the travel case.

The rod action is similar to the black Pocket Ninja 335 and the Pocket Ninja 240 (Headwaters)
There are three versions of the artwork: The Abstract Trout Skin, High Mountain Stream by Anthony Naples of Pennsylvania, US, and A Swimming Brown Trout by Charles Jardine of the UK.

The stiffness will increase for the shorter collapsed-length rods, but The Pocket Ninja is highly flexible, like other Tanuki rods, without compromising the strength. Tanuki Pocket Ninja is the HOTEST rod for backpackers and travelers. The rod was designed with proprietary engineering and designing software.

About the rod designer
Luong Tam was trained as a design engineer by trade. Luong has devoted himself to full-time tenkara rod development with his passion for fly fishing and casting. Tenkara Tanuki rod won the Fly Fishing Show Consumers Choice Award 2022 in the Tenkara Rod category. He also received his First Place in Design Innovation of The Year in 1993 by the International Design Industry. Tanuki rod also appears in international design magazines.
