From The Fly Fishing Show:
After a multi-year absence caused by the health pandemic followed by the unavailability of a suitable venue, the Fly Fishing Show will return to the Pacific Northwest on Feb. 17-18, 2024 with an agreement to utilize the Maydenbauer Center in Bellevue, Wash., announced Ben Furimsky, President and CEO of the event.
The facility, 11100 NE 6th St., about 10 miles from downtown Seattle and 30 minutes from Sea-Tac airport, will host the two day ode to the sport of fly fishing with new products, demonstrations, how-to-do-it seminars and films. With the announcement, the Fly Fishing Show again stretches from the Chattahoochee River in Georgia to Washington State’s Puget Sound.
Manufacturers and dealers from Asia, the United States, Canada and the rest of the world will be on hand with a potpourri of rods, reels, clothing, wading gear, fly lines, feathers and fur for fly tying along with a host of vacation destinations, resorts and lodges from Alaska to Argentina.
The return to the Pacific Northwest was spurred, in part, by unprecedented support of the six other 2023 shows, plus a deluge of inquiries and letters of encouragement to show officials from Oregon to British Columbia anglers. The only glitch – which has now been solved – was a suitable site.
