She was simply one of the kindest people the fly-fishing community has ever known, and she will be sorely missed.
As most of you have likely heard by now, Cathy Beck passed away on February 7, while hosting a trip in Argentina with husband Barry. The fly community is devastated by the news, and we at Angling Trade send our condolences to the family. We fondly remember Cathy for her graciousness. She was an example for all.
More words by us would pale in comparison to the eloquent tribute that Fly Fisherman produced, as well as the moving words Phil Monahan penned for Orvis.com. We highly encourage you to read both.
