And nobody has a better handle on this than Rick Crawford, who just earned his “sustainability excellence associate credential” from Green Business Certification, Inc.

Rick Crawford, from Emerger Strategies has earned the Sustainability Excellence Associate (SEA) from Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI). By obtaining this credential, Rick has demonstrated competency in the fieldof sustainability and has been recognized for having the skills necessary to foster innovation and to promote and lead sustainability initiatives.
In obtaining his SEA credential, Crawford has demonstrated that he:
· Understand and can communicate sustainability topics to diverse audiences;
· Is abreast of the most current sustainability issues, tools and techniques;
· Is able to apply systems thinking in developing sustainability solutions and assess sustainability risks and opportunities in any organization, community or industry; and
· Is involved in planning, implementing and evaluating the integration of sustainability into organizational culture and practice.
Rick is now a part of a growing community of innovative leaders around the world leveraging their Sustainability Excellence credentials to help organizations and communities integrate sustainability culture and practices throughout their operations. Emerger Strategies is a member of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals, and they plan to utilize the Rick’s MBA in Sustainable Business, his 15 years of experience in the sustainability field, and now his SEA credentials to continue fulfilling its mission to help companies measure and improve their sustainability performance, all while boosting profits.
