Montana Stream Access Rally
Wednesday, Oct 2, 2024
Gallatin County Fairgrounds, Exhibit Building 1
5:30-7:30 PM

GoalTo celebrate Montana’s best in the nation Stream Access Rule and remind voters that its preservation is crucial to our way of life, and a huge economic driver for our state.

Brief:

Montana’s Stream Access Rule is the blue-ribbon standard for the entire country. In no other place does a rule like this exist, and it forms the backbone of public access to our shared waters across the state. Montanans support this law and have proven so by upholding it for over five decades. With the continued influx of wealthy out of state interests and individuals, we can expect it will continue to be challenged.

The event brings together a broad coalition of NGOs, businesses, and individuals who rely on public access for their livelihoods. We will feature speakers discussing the past, present and future of stream access in the state, and why its preservation is so important to every Montanan. We are inviting candidates for statewide office, as well as MT house and senate candidates from Madison, Park and Gallatin counties to join us at the event.

There will be live music, food trucks and a bar.
