Please allow us to take a quick bow for having received an honor that makes us proud. Angling Trade was recently honored at the Outdoor Media Summit in Missoula, Montana, for having produced the best business-to-buiness story of the past year. It was called “AFFTA, now would be a good time to get real” and it talked about the death of trade shows as we knew them, and the need for the industry to coalesce behind a single vision.
We guess some of that happened. Some is still be TBD. And some other organizations still aren’t paying attention.
What’s not open to conjecture is the fact that Angling Trade will keep being honest, calling things as we see them, being willing to listen, respecting those who do the same, and calling BS on those with their heads in the sand.
