Big Sky Anglers is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join our team for the 2025 Summer Season.
A passion for fish, wild places, and adventure under the Big Sky has drawn together the Big Sky Anglers family. We are an eclectic, dedicated, knowledgeable, hard-working, fun-loving, band of passionate anglers who on any given day would rather have a rod in our hand than absolutely anything else, anywhere.
Key Responsibilities of the Retail Associate:
* Fish, Work, Sleep, Repeat.
*Provide exceptional customer service in person and by answering phone calls.
* Engage with customers to better understand their needs.
* Make product suggestions and recommendations to customers.
* Consistently promote brand initiatives including email registrations and loyalty programs.
* Ability to establish strong product knowledge and sell to customers
* Maintain working knowledge of warranty repairs for waders, rods, reels, etc.
* Extensive fishing and outdoor product knowledge.
* Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, restocking, and cleanliness.
* Perform cash register transactions including sales, returns, exchanges, and loyalty program registrations, efficiently and accurately.
* Receive and process incoming inventory products.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
* Receive and process incoming ecommerce orders when assigned
* Contribute to BSA marketing efforts with organic content (written, photo, video) as needed
* Answer customers’ ecommerce questions, resolve problems, maintain customer satisfaction, and build positive customer relationships.
