I started fly fishing at the age of twelve with the help of one of my neighbors on Long Island, NY. Starting out chasing bass and panfish, I quickly graduated to chasing bluefish and stripers on the North Fork and later in Montauk, NY. In the summers my days were divided between my two loves, fishing and horses. When I moved to California in 2000 I quickly learned to appreciate the rich diversity of fly fishing that the Southwest has to offer! In between packing mules in the sierras and training and showing horses in various disciplines I was able to sample everything from high country trout to offshore and inshore saltwater and even some L.A. River carp. Since moving to the West Coast, I’ve been fortunate enough to garner several fly fishing tournament first place finishes including back to back wins at the Lake Henshaw Carp throw down. I’m also a member of the USCarpPro Magazine pro staff.
After several years of working in and managing a couple of specialty fly shops here in Southern California it’s truly a dream come true for me to have the opportunity to join the Hardy & Grey’s sales team. I believe that we offer some of the best, most competitively priced equipment available today. It’s extremely exciting to me to be part of a company with such an amazing group of people and such a rich history in the fly fishing world. I look forward to going on the road flying the Hardy & Grey’s flag proudly as I visit with our dealers and guides in my territory.
