Trout Unlimited commended the service of Larry Schweiger, CEO of the National Wildlife Federation as he announced his retirement today.
Chris Wood, CEO at Trout Unlimited said Schweiger was leaving the conservation community with a great legacy:

Larry has been instrumental in giving voice to conservation-minded hunters and anglers in decisions regarding energy development, land protection, and habitat restoration. Most importantly, we appreciate his commitment to engaging the next generation of outdoor stewards who will help sustain our outdoor legacy.”
