CrossWaterCreek Outfitters, East Bay’s newest fly-fishing and outdoor lifestyle shop, is opening this Spring in Lafayette, Ca! We are now accepting resumes for full-time and part-time retail sales/customer service staff.
At CrossWaterCreek Outfitters, we aim to inspire and equip anglers of all skill levels to connect with nature through the art of fly fishing. With a passion for pristine waters and sustainable practices, we’re dedicated to providing expert guidance, premium gear, and unforgettable experiences—all while fostering a deeper appreciation for the outdoors and conservation.

Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking passionate Anglers who regularly fish local or distant waters and enjoy engaging with and assisting others. While retail experience is helpful, it’s not required—we provide training! Additional consideration will be given to candidates with experience in any of the following:
• Customer service
• Social media management
• Photography & videography
• Online store order management
• Fly tying
• Teaching or guiding
Duties & Responsibilities
• Greet and assist customers in-store, on the phone, and via email.
• Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to assist customers in purchasing decisions.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized store environment.
• Check in product shipments and stock displays.
• Use the Point-of-Sale system to complete customer transactions.
• Rig fly reels to customer specifications.
• Work weekends as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
