Madison Valley Ranch is seeking a breakfast cook for the 2025 season. The position begins in early April and runs through October.
The Breakfast Cook is responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in delivering high-end, quality meals. Madison Valley Ranch embraces the farm-to-table tradition, using fresh local ingredients wherever possible. Everything is scratch cooking. We accommodate up to 28 guests at a time.
The ideal candidate for Breakfast Cook will have some prior experience cooking at high-end lodges or restaurants. They should have a positive attitude, be friendly and work well with others, be comfortable managing food quality and presentation. They will also help to oversee kitchen stewards & servers. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef.
This is a great position for someone who loves the outdoors/fly fishing, can reliably report to work early and is looking to grow as a culinary professional.
We offer high-end staff housing close to the lodge at a discounted rental rate close to the lodge and town. No pets, please. Candidates must have their own transportation.

– Strong knife and butchering skills
– Ability to cook breakfast for 28 (with morning shifts starting as early as 5:30AM)
– Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail
– Exceptional organization kills and attention to detail
– Desire to provide excellent customer service
– Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that enables positive interactions with guests, vendors, co-workers, and management.
