Our team is passionate about providing an exceptional fishing experience for every client, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism.
Position Overview: We are looking for a highly enthusiastic and experienced Fishing Guide to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fishing, prior experience guiding clients, and the ability to lead engaging, educational fishing trips in beautiful locations. As a Fishing Guide, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our clients while delivering an exceptional, personalized fishing experience. The successful candidate will be required to have their own boat and a reliable, clean vehicle for transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
Guide fishing trips for individuals or groups, ensuring all guests have an enjoyable and safe experience.
Provide expert instruction on fishing techniques, equipment usage, and safety practices.
Educate clients about local fish species, fishing regulations, and the surrounding environment.
Maintain your boat and all necessary fishing gear in excellent condition.
Build strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service throughout the trip.
Provide post-trip customer feedback and contribute to improving the overall guest experience.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a fishing guide or in a similar role (required).
Strong knowledge of fishing techniques, fish species, and local waters.
Must own and maintain a reliable, clean vehicle for transporting clients and equipment.
Must own a boat in good condition suitable for guiding trips.
Ability to maintain a friendly, professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks.
CPR and First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proof of Commercial Insurance, (or willing to obtain)
