The Meadows on Rock Creek is Montana’s newest premier all-inclusive guest ranch, offering unforgettable outdoor experiences to guests from around the world. Surrounded by the stunning beauty of Rock Creek and the surrounding mountains, we specialize in crafting exceptional experiences, from world-class fly fishing to unique and authentic ranch activities.
We’re looking for passionate, knowledgeable, and professional individuals to join our team as Fly Fishing Guides. We offer very competitive pay and included housing! If you have a love for the outdoors, a talent for teaching, and a high level of professionalism, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
-Provide exceptional fly fishing experiences for guests of all skill levels, including instruction on casting techniques, entomology, fly selection, and gear use.
-Teach and guide clients safely while on Rock Creek and other nearby waters.
-Share knowledge of trout fishing and Montana’s unique ecosystem.
-Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times while on and off the water.
-Participate in various ranch-related tasks when not guiding, including assisting with other guest activities and general lodge/ranch duties.
-Maintain and organize fly fishing equipment.
-Represent The Meadows on Rock Creek with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Qualifications:
-Proficiency in fly fishing for trout, including knowledge of casting techniques, entomology, fly selection, and gear use.
-Excellent teaching skills with the ability to work with guests of all experience levels.
-A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and outgoing personality.
-Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize safety at all times.
-High level of professionalism and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
-Willingness to assist in other areas of the ranch as needed.
-CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain before employment).
-Ability to lift 30+ pounds
-Previous guiding experience preferred but not required.
